‘Friends’ is the fifth song from Chase Atlantic’s Nostalgia EP, released February 21st, 2015. It is said to be about a relationship Mitchel has had in the past with someone who was manipulated a lot by her friends, and possibly had her opinion on Mitchel changed by one of her friends. Australian alternative RnB band, consisting of brothers Mitchel (vocals, bass) and Clinton (saxophone, guitar) Cave and Christian Anthony (vocals, guitar). They released their first single ‘Dalliance’ on May 26, 2014. Their songs are influenced by artists like The Weeknd, The 1975, The Neighbourhood and Tame Impala, and their style is more similar to Alternative RnB, while it often features strong trap beats. Their first album ‘Chase Atlantic’ was released on October 4th 2017, while their second album, ‘Phases’ , which is said to be an album with incredible lyricism, was released on 28 June 2019. Their latest album ‘Beauty In Death’ was released on 5 March 2021, followed by the release of a deluxe edition of the album on 7 May 2022. Prior to that, Mitchel and Christian had participated in X-Factor Australia and were eliminated in place 11. Later on they started releasing cover videos on YouTube, all of which have now been deleted.
